All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (keyrings excepted), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, dichroic glass, enamel, pewter and/or semi-precious stones as well. To make things easier for you if you wish, I can also gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient – just leave me a note with what you would like to say when you checkout.
A bird sitting on a branch, hand cut from a bronze pre-decimal penny coin, using a small-bladed jeweller's saw. Approximately 3cms across. 1967 version ready for despatch. (The the date is important, other dates MAY be available but bear in mind, they were not minted every year and it would take time to make.)
Finished with a sterling silver chain in 16 or 18inch length - please specify on checkout.
Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Care guide included.
Recycled in Lancashire.
FYI - bronze is made up of 95% copper, 4% tin, 1% zinc. It represents the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.
It is legal to "deface the Queen's image" once the coin is no longer legal tender and I do have the license to do so. All coins that I use are pre-decimal (pre-1971) and therefore no longer legal tender.
