Rosalind Franklin (1920 -1958) - Is best known for her work on the X-ray diffraction images of DNA – in particular Photo 51 – which led to the discovery of the DNA double helix for which others received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1962.

Ada Lovelace (1815 – 1852): Was an English Mathematician and writer, mainly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s proposed Analytical Engine (computer). She widely regarded as one of the first computer programmers.

Grace Brewster Murray Hopper (1906 – 1992) was an American computer scientist and United States Navy rear admiral. One of the first programmers of the Harvard Mark I computer, she was a pioneer of computer programming who invented one of the first linkers.

Marie Salomea Skłodowska–Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.
