Item details

A handpainted original watercolour bookmark measuring 21cm x 6cm. It has been painted on 350gsm/150lb cold press watercolour paper using Winsor and Newton watercolours. It is protected by a plastic sleeve and has a co-ordinating tassel. On the reverse is a quotation from Mason Cooley 1927 - 2002, professor emeritus of French, speech and world literature at the college of Staten Island. It reads 'Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are'. The bookmark can be personalised with a name if you wish.

I have always been a booklover and reading has been a great source of comfort during the pandemic. I think the quote from Mason Cooley
