A Bud Vase, great Valentine gift for men or ladies, turned from some 130 years old re-claimed Oak in a contemporary bottle style. It has an amazing grain with classic Oak grain colours - woody, golden, rich and arching undulations. Has an imperceptible sexy little bulge in the neck leading up to a lipped top with a wonderful silky feel. Ideal for buttonholes and corsages, spring flowers - muscari, snowdrops, miniature daffodils,crocus, primroses, violets & wild flowers & grasses, buds & blossoms, botanicals and attractive feathers!
Looks perfect in a bedroom, on a mantelpiece, a glass shelf for traditional or contemporary decoration in any setting.
This lovely Oak bottles shaped wooden vase measures 6inches (15cm) tall, 1.5inches (4cm) diameter at the base and contains glass test tube insert 7.5cm tall,1cm diameter to hold water.
Buff with a soft duster or polish with beeswax and buff to a soft sheen.

We're always picking wild flowers in our woodland and never seem to have the perfect vessel to display them in - either for pleasure or identification - so I turned this small vase for single blooms or tiny flowers.
The wood came from our Victorian house in the Abbey here 4 years ago and I kept it all when we had some builders in, simply because it was so beautiful! it still had the original adzing tool marks was as clean as the day it had been put in and had that fantastic Oak smell of tannins and now it is looking enchantingly romantic with daffodils and a single snowdrop...
