This is a beautiful and unusual sheet of handmade Nepalese khadi paper which has been marbled in a variant of the nonpareil pattern.
I have used aqua green, dusty plum, silver and cobalt blue tint and then combed through the pattern with a comb missing out the normal step in between.
Marbled onto 150gsm acid free, tree free, off white base paper handmade in Nepal using traditional methods. This paper has natural deckle (wavy) edges.
The sheet is approx a4 sized, 298mm x 216mm. Due to the nature of how the paper is made, there is no grain direction.
This beautiful sheet is a one of a kind piece suitable for using in bookbinding, covering boxes and other items, scrapbooking, journaling, card making and many other paper crafts!
Every one of the sheets I sell are created by me from start to finish and due to the marbling process, each sheet is unique.
It will be sent flat in a card backed envelope.
Although I have strived for colour accuracy, please be aware that there may be colour differences due to the way monitors display colours.

Khadi paper is a beautiful paper handmade in Nepal by small paper makers. Batch produced using long fibre cotton rag, the paper is acid free. The sheets have a deckle or wavy edge which comes from the deckle (like a square sieve) used to scoop up and separate the pulped fibres from the water. This also results in the textured surface of the sheets.
