An upcycled denim zipper pouch with stunning pink hand sewn reverse applique hearts on each side using Bluebellgray fabric. Has a matching chunky pink zip and is lined with curtain lining fabric. Finished with a pink wooden bead and ribbon zipper pull. A perfect Valentines gift to be used as a cosmetic bag, pencil case or storage for many other items.

I love making useful items from recycled fabric, particularly denim, and like the watercolour effect in this beautiful Bluebellgray remnant, which I think is stunning against the dark blue denim. Each heart shape is accented with the hand sewn outline in the same colour. I have managed to match the zipper and zipper pull with the pink colour to give a total effect, with a neutral, cream lining using new curtain lining fabric.
