A different design with a a dimensional fabric folded terracotta plant pot which has be filled with an abundance of purple flowers using a variety of hand embroidered stitches. Set in a 6" bamboo hoop, finished with a lilac flat backing and a purple ribbon.

Sorting through some fabrics I came across a piece of terracotta coloured cotton, which I immediately thought would be good as a plant pot, so after a bit of twiddling and fiddling with the fabric, managed to form a plant pot.

I decided on a purple colour theme for the planting, no plan as such, but just picked up my needle and thread and began to work flowers in a variety of stitches,

I love the finished effect, the sage green backing fabric really sets off this lovely planter arrangement.
