‘Stitched Together’ printed, collaged, and stitched heart shaped art for someone you love.
Created with original, handmade linocuts, mono-prints and found, recycled papers which are collaged together and decoratively stitched onto 300gsm cartridge paper.
Each piece has a unique arrangement of papers and prints with optional text. They can be created with specific names or messages, please contact me directly for details and order times.
The hearts are mounted onto torn edged paper approximately 20x20cm size and backed onto 360gsm watercolour paper, titled, dated, and signed. They are sent unframed, the photographs are for illustration, with artwork presented within frames available from popular high street retailers.
The colours, placement of prints, papers and stitching will vary on each piece, making each one totally unique.
These make ideal valentine, anniversary, or wedding gifts.

I have always loved finding and collecting decorative, discarded papers, stationery, and packaging. The collaging process abstracts and isolates the patterns or textures on the papers, emphasising them in different ways, then the stitching adds sheen and definition.
I was asked to make some wedding invitations as a commission which is where the idea of adapting my collaged squares into heart shapes came from and I have loved making them as wedding cards/invitations, anniversary cards or valentine's cards ever since.
