Being a green woodworker, my two children grew up with wooden toys. A lot of the small woodie things I sell now were all tested by them.
One day, eight years ago, a grandfather brought his two nieces into my studio to buy them each a wooden wand. He suggested that I should be making fairy doors, because he couldn't find any really nice ones anywhere. That's how it all started. I've been making them ever since.
