Hello I'm Bob. Thank you very much for visiting my shop and I hope you see something you like. I am a designer maker, of woodturning's for everyday use and for that special gift. Each piece is crafted entirely by hand using traditional woodturning techniques and methods, then finished with love before being passed on to its new owner.
Many thanks Bob
A small trinket bowl turned from Maple with beautiful figuring and a red and violet iridescent rim. It measures 125mm in diameter and 50mm high.
The piece has been turned, sanded and then finished with iridescent colours and Melamine Lacquer before polishing with wax polish to a nice shine.
It is a small but mighty piece with a beauty that would grace any home.
I wanted to make a small bowl that could be used to put small item in like keys, watches, earrings etc. so they wouldn't be misplaced when you weren't wearing them. It had to be tactile and pleasing to the eye so that people would like to buy and own it and at an affordable price. It is useful beautiful piece.
