The Gothic Wren sprung from research around medieval churches, especially the colours of the stained glass. It started as a quick sketch, but rapidly became a picture in its own right. I often see wrens locally and love their quick little movements and miniature stature...jewels of the hedgerows.

Original design created with ink and watercolour on paper.

A square card (140mm x 140mm) printed digitally on 330gsm card and hand finished. Supplied with a white envelope and a clear cellophane wrapper. Blank inside for your personal message.

Created and made in Somerset.

The Gothic Wren was inspired by medieval stained glass windows, both the colours of the glass and its construction as well as Celtic elements. I often see wrens locally hopping low over the hedges etc. They are so tiny and yet perfectly formed.
