Item details

This stained glass window hanging is made with traditional techniques, fully painted, fired , leaded and cemented. It is set in a plain pine box frame and has a chain for hanging in the window. All the images I use come from medieval cathedrals which I interpret into glass.
The size is 7.5" square.

All the Gargoyles that I make are taken from Medieval Cathedrals and churches. I enjoy translating the sculptural image into Stained Glass which was so important in a Medieval Art. The techniques that I use, are exactly the same as was used then. It is a gift that will last for centuries!
