This vintage 1930's May Fair box camera manufactured by Houghton-Butcher Manufacturing Co Ltd has been beautifully upcycled into a striking and stylish floor lamp. Complete with a vintage telescopic tripod with brass legs, this lamp would look great as a statement piece in a livingroom, bedroom, office, bar, restaurant, or any other area.
The camera has been fitted with a hanging antique style light fitting with a vintage Edison style long tube LED bulb with an antique style bulb cage.
These high quality vintage style LED light bulbs produce far less heat than the traditional incandescent bulbs as they use up to 90% less energy, and have up to 30,000 hours lifespan.
The lamp is also fitted with a vintage style brown braided flex cable with an inline switch, a metal cord grip, and a 3amp British plug. All fittings are genuine British parts, all hand-wired to a high, professional standard and PAT tested.
The lamp has an overall height of approximately 133cm
This is an original vintage item and is decades old, so there may be some natural wear and tear which adds to the character of the lamp.
