Narrowboat safety pin mooring hook box
Description
Designed to be screwed to an internal cabin divider or vertical bulkhead in a narrowboat these boxes are used to store safety pin style mooring hooks. Height 460mm, width 135mm, depth 128mm. Made from 16mm thick pine boards. Finished with Danish oil which gives a clear matt moisture resistant finish allowing the wood grain to be seen.
Inspiration
Mr Shipshape says: "Wondering where your mooring hooks are? I've got them 'cos you left them behind on the bank this morning. This box will help you keep control of the little blighters. You can't keep on buying a new set every season. Screw it where you can see it and count them out and count them in. Mine went under the gunwale, so that's an option too.
