Donkeys are such characters, as a child I loved the Paul Galico story called The small miracle about a young boy and his very sweet donkey Violetta. I also grew up with family tales about my grandmothers donkey William who escaped and raided the vicarages tea party next door!
Whilst Horses have maybe been my passion , donkeys are not far behind.
