A fabric storage basket made from designer label fabrics.

This small-sized storage basket has been made using a linen fabric called 'Hiyoku' by the Designers Guild, featuring large, blousy blooms in lipstick-pink and soft grey on a mid-pink background.

The inner fabric is an sumptuous Ted Baker satin fabric featuring stags heads and circling fish set against an intricate trellis pattern, all in beautiful hues of dark green, turquoise, gold and rich pink.

The basket has been trimmed using an emerald green pom-pom braid for extra pizzazz!

Both fabrics have been interfaced to provide good structure to the basket, although it can be collapsed flat if required.

The basket measures approximately 17 cm high (not including the turned down rim which measures 3 cm), 20 cm wide and 13 cm deep.

I really love trying to mix unusual and quirky fabric combinations for these smart and useful storage baskets.

This one would look just perfect sitting on the bathroom shelf to house all those unsightly but necessary cosmetic/ toiletry bottles.

The basket will be posted flat, inside a fully compostable cellophane sleeve, but can easily be returned to its full capacity by a gentle press of the hands on both sides!
