I was inspired by the Folksy theme 'wren' to create a contemporary greeting card. Since attending a course on lino printing last year, I have been looking for a suitable subject for a card, and wrens, with their simple lines are perfect. My photographs show the whole process from initial sketches, through carving the print block, to printing the finished card. A most absorbing process! The card can be mounted and framed to produce an attractive picture as you can see in the photographs.
