My friend had some zwartbles and mixed breed white sheep and I prepared, carded and spun the fleeces. I acquired some lambs fleece which was another different texture to prepare and spin. I decided to make a multicoloured and multi textured beanie. In my mind I had the idea of the colours of the earth sea and sand. I like the colours and the rustic nature of the finished product.

Full description
Colour block and rustic beanie made from the fleece of several sheep breeds making the item both multicoloured and multi textured. All wool hand spun and item hand knitted. The crown is a sandy yellow colour graduating to a block of brown and white which is natural zwartbles wool plied with a mixed breed white fleece which continues into the ribbed brim. A blue seascape block followed by a dark green colour complete the brim.
The beanie measures 24ins/54 cms around the brim. The ribbing of the brim measures 4ins/10 cms before folding and the distance from the top of the crown to the start of 5he brim is 7 ins/ 18cms.
Lovely and warm as it’s made from 100 per cent wool. A unique one off and very individual item.
