A wonderful zoological print of a juvenile angelfish (Holacanthus semicirculatus). The orginal artwork was created by a French artist, Georges Cuvier. He is a renowned naturalist and zoologist, sometimes referred to as the "founding father of paleontology."

As an avid scuba diver and amteur mariane biologist I have always been interested in Fish. Most fish have different stages of development and it is a rare sight to see a juvenile stage of a species.

I have only seen one juvenile angelfish in my life, which I visited multiple times, whilst diving off the coast of Koh Toa in Thailand. I will always remember the vivid colours and unique behaviour.
