Hulks on the Medway at Hoo - COLLAGE LINO PRINT
A collage of handprinted papers - carefully selected and snipped from other lino prints and mono prints.
I love the colours and textures of the rusting hulks on the River Medway. When I was little we often walked along the foreshore between Upnor to Hoo Marina collecting bits of clay pipe and blue and white china. It felt like the back of beyond then, but now the riversides are quite built up.
Assembled on a heavy weight Strathmore paper. This piece measures approximately 40cm wide and 30cm high with a margin around for mounting. I can provide a mount for this piece to fit a standard 50x70cm frame or other custom size, please get in touch to discuss costs.
