I adore Frida Kahlo, and I am inspired by her art and life. She is one of my favourite characters to paint - I find her intriguing, beautiful, and awe inspiring. I am drawn to paint her, and I love placing her surrounded by animals and nature, from where she drew much of her own inspiration.
