I have been walking along the coastline and across the hills, inspired by the book 'Windswept' by Annabel Abbs. Now, I'm busy working up ideas developing from these walks.

Journey Mapping is the collective title of my latest stitched textile pieces. My aim is to capture in stitch the experience of being in a place. So the image is less literal and more evocative. Stay late on the beach and watch as the last light softens, catching the tops of ripples and turns the view to shades of golden yellow.
