Welcome to the Polarstar Pottery shop - I hope you'll find something here that makes you smile!
All items are hand-made using traditional pottery techniques at my home studio in Letchworth Garden City.
Looking for a Gift ? I can post direct to the recipient and include a message from you - just leave a 'note to seller' when purchasing. I will usually dispatch items within 24hrs and send you an email with the receipt and tracking number. All items will be gift wrapped in cream tissue, under lots of protective packaging, and sent by Royal Mail TRACKED48.
I made the first heart similar to this as part of the 'Hugs Challenge' which was organised by Anglian Potters during lockdown. Everyone was missing real hugs, so the challenge was to make a ceramic piece on the theme of Hugs. There were so many different interpretations ! All the entries were included in an online exhibition and were sold to raise funds for the charity Nelson's Journey that supports bereaved children. It was a great project to be a part of and the heart was so much fun to make that I decided to do a few more !
