Consider your teatime HANDLED with this lovely cup.

Blue Baboo is a beautiful blue/green/light teal mug, complete with a handle. The 'Baboo' pattern is inspired by the bamboo leaves I see in my garden everyday.

Blue Baboo is made from white stoneware clay and thrown on the wheel. I've used leaf green underglaze and applied the 'Baboo' pattern using one of my trusty brushes and black underglaze. I've then covered everything in a transparent glaze.

This cup has been fired at a high temperature to ensure it's hygienic and suitable for food/drink usage.

Things to note:
- Signed 'Gane' on the base
- Best to hand wash
- Size approx: 7.5cm H x 7.5cm W

We have a cluster of black bamboo plants (trees?) at the back of the garden. I love the rustling of the bamboo leaves in the wind.

The blue/green/light teal colour reminds me of the sea on a sunny day.

Fun fact: Years ago, I accidentally combined the words 'boo' and 'bahbye' when I was leaving the house one day (very, very tired and maybe a little bit hungover). Now 'baboo' has made its way into everyday use in our house :)
