I have been questioned quite a lot in my DMs on Instagram about my pet portraits so I thought I’d make it easier and set up a place where they can be purchased and common questions can be answered.
(Of course, you can still message me, I just thought I’d make it easier for fellow introverts.

The process,

I will ask for a front and side profile of your pet, so I can get an idea of the markings, colourings or unique look of your pet. I understand that sometimes sadly, a pet passes away, or you would like a gift for someone else, and good photos are difficult to get hold of, so in these circumstances, I will need to know any features that stand out, for example,
“patch has a white tummy, one white sock on his front right and all black tail.”

I have a few background to choose from, including on a cushion colour of choice, on wildflowers and grass or we can keep it classic and white. If you have a very black or a very white dog, I would recommend a solid background, as it helps those floofs to stand out.

I will then create a rough sketch and send it to you to approve.
After this, the fun collaging can begin.

Please note, I create portraits in my signature style, so do have a good look at my work as my style is rather unusual, I really love colour and texture and work hard to bring out your pets character. It’s different to the usual watercolour pet portraits advertised.
