A real hand cut and hand stitched leather dog collar to suit Greyhounds and Lurchers. The leather is black English bridle and the chunky buckle and D ring are solid brass cast in the Abbey foundry. The edges of the collar are rounded off and burnished for comfort and a quality finish. The holes which are individually punched out are oval for a smoother fit and quality finish. With a little care this collar will age beautifully and last for years.

I first got into leather working because I wanted to make collars and leads for my own dogs.
I came to appreciate that it needs to be Bridle leather for collars,leads or belts and that it needs to be quality preferably English bridle that has been properly hand finished. Bridle is designed to harness the power of a horse and also to stand up to being outside in all weathers. I really do enjoy putting that bit of extra time in to make a really good quality collar.
