This bowl has a contemporary look and a tactile functional form . It has a beautiful figure and natural colour . Hand carved from a piece of English Yew. It has been finished with a food safe linseed oil. It measures 210mm long 110mm at widest part of bowl. Internal depth of bowl 35mm.

I love using Yew it has such interesting grain patterns and natural colouration of yellow browns and orange. The Yew is one of our oldest living trees . This piece came from a tree that was cleared from a local building site. This piece has a nice flowing shape with a handle the could be used as pouring spout
