When you have handmade christmas item like this it soon becomes and heirloom and part of every Christmas.
A very small remnant that I was gifted has very happy party robins and had to be made into something special to show it off. I really think that the star shape is so special for christmas brightening up the room.
The backing fabric was a lovely cotton piece of fabric that came as a wrapping for something my daughter bought and she knew to pass it straight to me for sewing.
