A beautiful pendant necklace made from Scottish brown amber-coloured sea glass. The glass has been reshaped and smoothed over decades of tumbling in the Scottish waves!
The necklace has been wrapped in wire and finished with a tiny Celtic swirl. This pendant measures approximately 4.5cm high. It comes complete with a silver-plated 18" snake chain and gift box. (Item:1509)
All the sea glass, pottery and shells used to make the necklaces are sourced from the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. The glass and pottery have been gently worn smooth by the rough Scottish seas and can often date back over 100 years!
All my pendants are handmade in Cellardyke using sea glass and antique sea pottery, found washed up on the beaches in Fife. Only the most special pieces become necklaces and many have been found to date back over 100 years. Each piece is a one-off antique, all worn smooth and with their colours and patterns still vibrant, despite the rough Scottish seas! I use silver plated wire to wrap the pieces and enhance their shapes and patterns.
