This lovely detailed ring has been made using traditional silversmithing skills in my hilomilo workshop in rural Lincolnshire. It has been brought up to a beautiful shine and is available in a choice of 18ct or 9ct solid gold and in the lovely warm hues of rose or yellow gold.

Measuring 6mm at its widest point and 1.8mm at its deepest point this ring catches the light beautifully. On the inside of the band you will find my individual maker's mark and a hallmark from the London Assay Office that guarantees the quality and authenticity of the materials that have been used to create it.

(Please note that the stone in the rose gold ring in picture 3 is not included in the ring or the pricing.)

I live in Lincolnshire, an area that is rich in Roman and Anglo Saxon history. A friend had thrown out a box of old metal detecting spoils and amongst all the unwanted bits and pieces was a tiny broken piece of metal that looked like the small corner of a brooch or belt buckle with this beautiful pattern on it. I set about casting this tiny piece in silver several times. I then silver soldered these castings together to make a long strip of this pattern which I could then in turn make into a ring. This beautiful decorative pattern is now cast in gold and can be worn once more forming a wonderful link back to our past.
