These lovely little sterling silver ivy leaf studs were made using traditional silversmithing skills in my hilomilo workshop in rural Lincolnshire. After first carving the leaves in wax I then cast them in sterling silver and after soldering on an earring pin, they are polished up to a nice high shine. They're perfect for wearing everyday.

Like many makers I am often inspired by nature and I just love the shape of the ivy leaf and have a lot of it growing up my holly tree at the moment. Those gorgeous glossy leaves seemed the perfect shape for a little pair of earrings.
