This was the first thing I made for the house (2 of them in fact) one for the hallway, I wanted a bench that was sturdy and big enough for 2 and with room for muddy boots on a shelf beneath.

My Wife then said how it would work at the end of the bed as an Ottoman, it works and looks great.
