An adult-sized female face mask made of pure 100% silk satin by Liberty - Belgravia Satin Silk 'Byrne' on the front and reverse of the mask.

'Byrne' is a stunning print in a host of colours consisting of a geometric pattern in coral/pink, sage/lime green and teal on a navy background. It was inspired by the culturally rich and visually stimulating cross-continental journey along 'The Silk Road' collection and chronicles the origins of trade and convergence of cultures through exhilarating colour palettes and striking prints - the colours are more vibrant than the photos show!

The mask consist of 2-layers of silk only and measures approximately 20 cm wide by 13 cm high from nose bridge to chin and is fixed to the face using soft red round elastic.

I have made a range of pure silk masks in response to a friend of my daughter who not only finds multi-layered masks claustrophobic to wear but they also cause frequent breakouts of 'maskne' (mask acne).

This pure silk satin by Liberty of London is feather-light on the face and you almost cannot feel the soft elastic around the ears.

In addition, silk does have hypoallergenic properties, is breathable, cool and is the best fabric to have against sensitive skin (which is why I back all my eye masks with it to help protect the delicate skin around the eye area).

You will need to wash this mask by hand in warm soapy water (just soak gently for 10 minutes in a delicates soap solution), rinse and squeeze gently and allow to dry naturally. (DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR TUMBLE DRY).

Your mask will come safely wrapped in a fully compostable cellophane sleeve inside the parcel.
