Inspiration
My father has been a lifelong bow tie wearer; it's his trademark!
He's been wearing bow ties since he was a young man, and he's 91 now.
I started making bowties for him as Christmas stocking fillers a few years ago using vintage fabrics and these beautiful Liberty of London Tana lawn prints. I hope you like them as much as he does.
When tied the bow measures approximately 12 cms across, the widest point of the tie measures 5.5 cms.
