Sight loss inspired me to hone my wire art and gemstone skills for your delight!
This was a free gift from Natalie Ofkants, so the price can be very reasonable, as a result.
At first I thought it was dyed in the two colours but on watching the Antiques Road Show, there was a mention of aventurine being coloured both pink and blue. So I believe this to be Aventurine.
It is so charming and petite, but I did have a bit of a struggle to mount it because of the lack of a hole. Though I am really happy that I have solved the problem to the design of the silver wire mount. It very much heightens the effect of the necklace. The earrings too a ]re a joy!
