Handmade and personalised Felt Christmas stocking by Bucilla, titled "Snow Fun" .
Featuring three Snowmen sliding down a snowy embankment, throwing snowballs with a penguin and trees.

Embellished with lots of sparkly sequins, beads and embroidery.
The back of the stocking is blue.

I have added an extra piece of white felt as an inner lining to cover the stitches that are inevitably created on the reverse of the front.

A name of your choice can be embroidered to a white felt tag in lime green that will hang from the loop. (Can be in red if preferred, see image 4)

The finished measurements of this stocking are approximately:

15” (45.72cm) in length (Around 18” including hanging loop)

I made my first Bucilla felt appliqué stocking in 2001 for my eldest son when he was 5 years old and it still makes an appearance every year!

I have since made up a fair few more, see the last image for some examples of previous designs.

These stockings are built up from the base piece, with each element of the design being hand cut, embroidered, beaded and sequinned and then stuffed and appliqued numerically to the base, thus creating a finished image or scene.
