This is an ink and watercolour original of Dartmoor, near where I live. It's a beautiful place to find some peace and quiet, and the views are always stunning (unless it's lost in fog!)

The low light in this painting feels very Autumnal, with heather purples and green gold light on the rough grass, these are all the colours I love about Dartmoor.

This painting is 8" x 10.5" approx and will be supplied mounted and wrapped in cellophane with a backing board, with an acid free soft off-white textured mount (see photo 3 for information - it's a different picture but the mount will match this one). It will fit a standard size 11x14" frame.

I love to paint the area surrounding where I live, and I am fortunate enough to live near not one but two great moors - Exmoor and Dartmoor. The colours and textures found on the moors are unique - and I have painted them many times, they never get boring. The skies and the cloud formations in particular are stunning, and dramatic.
