The fiery red and orange tones of these fabulous Keishi petal pearls are just glorious. I have hand knotted them on red silk, and the silver toggle clasp has a beautiful rose design.

The necklace length is 20in.
Keishi pearls have a very high lustre. The size of the petal pearl pieces varies, averaging 10-12mm long by 7-9 mmwide.

Because keishis are made up of pure nacre, there is nothing to stop the reflection of light – making them extraordinarily lustrous. Keishi pearls shimmer and shine with amazing lustre. Similar to precious gemstones, the colour and lustre of keishi pearls remain unchanged throughout time. This well-known sheen has been admired for many generations and cultures. Known as “the gifts of the mermaids,” keishi pearls were worn with pride for centuries by the princesses of the Arabian kingdom. Their special lustre creates a remarkable radiance when worn on the skin.
