The traditional granny square goes large! This handmade crochet blanket makes an ideal lightweight lap blanket for the winter months. Also the perfect size to add a snug, cosy layer to baby’s pram or car seat. Made in acrylic double knitting yarn, the blanket can be machine washed on a gentle setting. The blanket measures 30" or 75cm square.

Granny squares offer so many ways to play with colour and add a modern twist to this traditional technique. This blanket is stitched in a variegated yarn in colours reminiscent of shells on a beach. A plain cream yarn creates contrast in occasional stripes and in the simple border.
