"Fade of Day" is a 7" x 5" needlefelted artwork mounted in a black boxframe.

Looking over the Exe estuary late afternoon one midwinter day, I saw the pastel colours of the fading sun, and the mirror-like stillness of the water. I couldn't wait to capture this using wool and silk.
