Floral Giclee Print Gift Cards Pack of 4
Description
A pack of four A6 gift cards featuring three different giclee reproductions of my original prints.
Each original mixed media print was created by applying watercolour pigments and layering them with hand-carved and hand-pressed lino blocks. The distressed effects are intentional with the addition of dragged acrylic paint to emphasise the textures.
The A4 original prints are available in my shop.
The blue 'Grandiflora' print is repeated twice to make up the pack of four.
Inspiration
Inspiration for my prints comes from the riot of flowers and plants in my garden.
While I work in my studio I am surrounded by their colours and shapes as they move and change with the light of the day. I am fascinated by the patterns and forms nature creates and endeavour to capture this in my work.
