Cactus Jug

(It does have a tendency to dribble but would make a lovely small plant pot for a cactus or succulent.)

I threw this jug on the potter's wheel using a strong white stoneware clay. I then turned the base and added the handle and decoration before bisque firing the mug. I glazed it using a lovely transparent glaze and again fired it, this time to 1240C stoneware making it strong and durable.

I sign my pieces with the initials REJM. My parents gave me a long name and then called me by my last!

I make mugs usually but one day decided to make a jug and this one just called out for a cactus as decoration.
But then it dribbled on me so I decided it might prefer to be a plant pot!
