Unique Christmas Elf or Fairy Door in white, with candy canes and present.
Does your house have an elf that visits every December?
Why not give him his own door?
This door is freestanding and can be used indoors or outside. You could place it under a tree in the garden, against the skirting board, or simply use as a table decoration.
The door is made of ayous wood that has been repurposed and the doorstep is made of sustainable pine. These are then engraved using pyrography before being painted with acrylic paints.
The door surround, fittings and the candy canes and present are sculpted from polymer clay.
Glass beads around a small Christmas Wreath with a red ribbon bow add to the festive feel.
The door is finished with gloss varnish.

As a child I had a fascination with small doors. Small front doors on houses, little cupboard doors. doors to the eaves. Naturally there had to be something exciting behind them. Fairies, I hoped, perhaps a mischievous little elf or imp?
I can't say for sure if 24 years of teaching primary school children is what's kept me young at heart but it's played an enormous part in my creativity.
Just hoping to spread the magic.
