Item details

These individual circular earrings feature multiple layers of enamel resin fused onto an aluminium base. They are attached to surgical steel ear wires and are supplied with a pair of silicon stoppers.

The dimensions are as follows:
Height - 22 mm
Width - 22 mm

Mounted onto card and presented in an organza bag, they would make an ideal gift for birthdays and other special occasions, or just a treat for yourself!

The earrings are from my 'Strandline' range of jewellery which features unique designs influenced by the sea, skies, sun and coastline of the beautiful and inspirational Cornish Penwith peninsula where I live and work.

I’m lucky to live near the sea at the very end of Cornwall, and most of the inspiration for my earrings and pictures come from my surroundings.

I'd been on a drive along a tree-lined road just before I made these earrings. It was one of those crisp, clear autumn days and the autumnal leaves on the trees inspired me to create this design. I love the fact that you can look deep into these earrings and see flecks of all the autumn colours. They really come to life when the light hits them.

I love working with enamel and use a torch firing production method. I like the control this gives me over the final design, as I build it up with layer upon layer of enamel. No two pairs of my earrings are the same, and I love the individuality this gives my work.
