- Traditional chevron twill patterned scarf - made by hand -

The scarf is made with fine, supple, soft and lustrous British Aran wool from the rare breed Blue-faced Leicester - in mushroom, nut and earth browns coupled with a subtly speckled cloud white Aran wool. Woven by hand on our wooden homemade loom in our old stable workshop in the far west of Cornwall.

The Mushroom Foragers scarf is good, thick and warm and it's lighter shades offer a brighter hue to nestle into on a dreary November day.

The cool speckled cloud white against the luminous earthy browns, summon images of autumnal leaf-littered woodland glades and meadows, and salt-kissed clifftop tussocks frosted with little clusters of mushrooms and toadstools that catch the low winters light.

One for the curious forager.
