Personalised Christmas themed natural linen hanging decoration featuring an appliqued jug motif together with hand-embroidered Christmassy flowers. The jug is available to be personalised with wording of your choice.

The jug has been created from hand-cut strips of red and white fabric and stitched together, and then I have added hand-embroidered flowers to the design using embroidery silks. The finishing touch is a red and cream gingham vintage style ribbon – all ready to adorn your Christmas tree. The decoration is filled with new polyester wadding and a sachet containing cloves, cinnamon and star anise for a wonderfully festive aroma.

Measures approx 10cm x 7cm

This design is available with your own personalised message. You can choose to have wording on either one or two of the white stripes up to a maximum of 10 characters per stripe. Send a Christmas message, add your house name or simply a festive greeting.

I've collected stripy Cornishware pottery for at least twenty years since I first picked up a little jug at a car boot sale. The jug lives on my dresser and is filled with flowers during the summer months. Earlier this year I was looking for a gift idea for a friend so on a rainy afternoon I decided to make a lavender bag and try to replicate the jug in fabric and add a message. For Christmas I thought a red and white stripy version would be perfect and have replaced the lavender with cloves, cinnamon and star anise to give a wonderfully festive aroma. As the embroidery is all stitched by hand no two bags will ever be the same!
