An adult female-sized face mask made from high quality Tana Lawn cotton (Liberty Print - 'Jeweltopia) on the front and reverse of the mask.

The fabric features a beautiful a tree of life pattern with leaves and flowers strewn with Christmas baubles and ribbon-wrapped presents in lovely festive shades of red and green, all set on a dark navy-blue background (it is darker than it appears in the photos).

The mask is interlined with two layers of Egyptian cotton (high thread count) to try and give maximum layers (4 in all) whilst maintaining breathability, and fitted to the face using dark blue soft round elastic.

The mask is approximately 21 cms wide (not including the elastic) and 14 cms tall from nose bridge to chin.

It is accompanied by a drawer-string bag in the same fabric with blue-satin ribbon in which you can store your precious mask!

I wanted to make some special Christmas face masks that people could give as gifts or stocking fillers and decided to use some of the Tana Lawn Liberty festive prints such as this one called 'Jeweltopia'.

The fabric is not only beautiful but is made using a process which results in an extra fine, cool and durable cotton with a silk-like feel and allows for brilliant reproduction of Liberty’s lustrous colours and prints. It is made from specially selected ultra-fine long staple cotton using a bespoke process which has been fine-tuned by Liberty Fabric experts over the last 100 years.

All this has the added bonus of the mask, despite its four layers, feeling much lighter and softer on the face. I have teamed it with much softer round elastic for additional comfort and just could not resist making a drawer-string bag to match (which is unlined but all raw edges have been overlocked)!!

A perfect gift to find at the bottom of your Christmas stocking!
