Handmade sleeping fox copper brooch
Description
A handmade rustic copper brooch depicting a sleeping fox.
He is cut from sheet copper, heated by torch to make the copper malleable and provide variations in colour, shaped and textured by hammering with different tools to obtain different effects, filed and sanded. The brooch is finished using Renaissance micro-crystalline wax and buffing with a soft cloth. He is attached by a simple pin on the reverse. His handmade nature makes him one of a kind.
He measures approximately 1.75” (4.5cm) wide x 1.25” (3cm) high.
