Do you buy yourself flowers? I do! I get easily distracted by beautiful bunches of bright colours. Although pink is not really my colour (orange! I love orange) there was something rather pleasing about this particular bunch that made me pick it up and bring it home.

This is an original watercolour with ink outlines, in my usual slightly chaotic style and not remotly sticking within the lines I've drawn. The artwork measures 30x23cm, and is currently unframed and unmounted. It will be supplied with a strong backing board and cellophane wrap so it arrives safely.

I paint quite a lot of still life flowers and vases, I especially like painting glassware because of the way the light reflects through it. This painting was made during lockdown, in a rare moment of quiet when my children were actually doing their school work as opposed to moaning about it!
