Handmade from oak,inspired by the grain in the wood, this charming creature stands approx 10x20cm. Sanded and oiled this is a great ornament, you can arrange the pieces to show movement and texture. Note, due to the delicate joints the pieces only fit one way with a bit of careful jiggling and it not advisable to treat it as a toy.

I love looking at wood colour and grain and just like looking at clouds you sometimes see shapes. This just screamed guinea pig, so I cut it on my scrollsaw, moving the wood around the blade to get the delicate cuts needed to show the fur took a fair time but I think it was worth it.
